Upcoming Events at Shakers Meet up Space
The Shakers Seniors gather at the Blackhurst Cultural Centre, located at the corner of Bloor and Bathurst. This neighborhood holds a rich history within Toronto’s Black community, reflective of that legacy, holding memories of accomplished leaders and changemakers who have shaped and contributed to the vibrant colorful cultural landscape of the area.
It is a culture rooted in the Afro-diasporic experience and guided by the wisdom and perseverance of our elders and trail blazers, honoring the past while shaping the future together.
We gather on the twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
